	<title>Go Debt Free</title>
	<description>
Break the Cycle of Debt
It's so easy to fall into a cycle of debt, and so hard to break the spending habits that got you there. But to become debt free, you need to find something else to do with your time--something that doesn't cost you any money. Take a walk! Ride your bike! Do whatever you need to do to go debt free, but don't incur any more debt while doing it. Do you have a gym membership? Work out more! Is your house a mess? Clean it and organize it! Anything to keep you out of the malls and away from your credit cards.

Of course, for some people it's not as simple as pie to become debt free today. They didn't incur debt from overspending at the mall. Maybe unexpected medical bills got put on credit cards (yes, most doctors do accept credit cards now). You can't avoid getting sick! Also, you can't do much about it when your car breaks down. Often, that's a costly expense as well, as well as unexpected. So you put that on your credit card too.

Or maybe you're debt is a combination of those things and more--like milk being $3.69 a gallon and gas being nearly $3 a gallon! That's ridiculous. Bet the employees of the big oil companies aren't looking for ways to go debt free. Why should they? We're all lining their pockets quite nicely. And why should they care about the price of gas? They can actually afford it! The American public pays them quite nicely!

In any case, your intention to go debt free (if you have that intention) is a good one. You should be proud of it. To make it happen, enroll in a professional debt management program. This is one of the smartest ways to go debt free because you'll be debt free in about five years and literally save thousands of dollars in interest in the process.

Once you go debt free through one of the many debt free programs out there, you should get some credit counseling too. This will teach you how to budget and save so that you can enjoy debt free living forever.
